Join Make or Break to celebrate the unveiling of speculative monuments around Kyneton.

Make or Break have been asking female-identifying residents of Kyneton to propose public monuments for the town. These ideas have been collected in the days leading up to the Triennial and during its running, via a short anonymous paper survey conducted by the artists and volunteers on foot around town. From this information, a series of live unveiling ceremonies in specific locations will take place during the Triennial. Visit the artists and view the collected surveys at 51 Mollison Street, Kyneton during KCAT.

KCAT Art Sites

The artwork of KCAT2018: Force Fields is exhibited all over Kyneton in non-traditional sites both indoor and outdoor. Your KCAT PASS contains a map for you to find the artwork, and will permit you access to the sites containing it. There is sculpture, painting, photography, performance, sound, installation and mixtures of those besides. Artworks are located in sites such as a loft, a garden, a cottage, a huge empty factory, an empty shop, an old butter factory, a train station, a town square, a block of land with large pine trees, the front yards of local homes, a local community group's website page and more!

KCAT2018: Force Fields starts at 10am on Saturday 14 April - while the official launch events take place the night before.

The programs listed in this PARALLEL PROGRAMS section are the additional, ancillary activities that contribute to the entire offering of the Triennial. Some core KCAT artworks are included here however, to advise of variant locations or to allow access to sound files, maps or other necessary online components.
